In fact, it was Lilith who lifted him out of the mud and showed him that there was a way to gain the power he sought. He became a warlock and lost face, but gained power. With every soul he takes, his power grows, and there are no greater souls than those of dragons. His dark magic is very useful in the fight against draconic forces, but it is believed that he does not only collect the souls of dragons.
