Glade is a spirit sika.They are the smaller cousins of the Kirin, yet they are powerful and graceful.On an expedition to deal with a difficult river dragon that had been causing problems, their party was stopped by a spirit sika blocking their path through a clearing. Thereseemed to be no apparent reason why he wouldn't let them pass, other than warlike intent.One of the adventurers tried to get him to leave, but landed flat on his back. Before things could escalate, Grandmother Snow stepped forward and berated the spirit Sika like a naughty child. The deer seemed taken aback by the confident little kitsune and let them pass. Glade followed them from a distance, curious to see what they were doing.In the village where they were staying the Spirit Sika pounced on an old man, but before he could be scolded again, Grandmother Snow realized why. SpiritSika are known for their ability to see the true form of creatures, and this old man was the river dragon they had been looking for.Snow named the deer Glade after the place where they found him, and he followed them back to the lodge. Now Snow and Glade are inseparable, andthe miniature comes with a matching base.
